i've arrived

welp, i made it to nairobi! the land of traffic, beautifully dressed kenyan city slickers, and comfort. it's nice how this city doesn't change that much. nakumatt prestige still has everything you could ever need, including tic-tacs and cold juice. my apartment is beautiful. and yesterday i took an epic nap and then wandered and ate lunch with my wonderfully friendly roommate and his friends. last night i stayed in and showered and did laundry (no joke) and watched 'gone baby gone' just to hear the boston accent.

today, i'm going to read the news (it's already a messed up day, when you wake up to this), then maybe just sit by the pool. and go buy sneakers and convince myself the treadmill is worth it.
